2025 - the LOOP project is funded by the CDP program

The LOOP project (closed Loop neurOtechnologies: from sensOrs to aPplications) aims to bring together the University of Lille's theoretical, technological and clinical forces in neurotechnology, more specifically those involved in the different stages of designing, testing and validating devices that can mimic and restore brain physiology, with the ultimate goal of relieving drug-resistant hallucinations.
LOOP will mobilize several Lille partners highly involved in the NeurotechEU European alliance in order to take advantage of all the necessary expertise from physics, materials, microelectronics and nanotechnology (IRCICA, IEMN), computer science and neuromorphic computing (CRIStAL, INRIA, IRCICA), signal processing (CRIStAL, LilNCog), cognitive neuroscience (LilNCog, SCALab), clinical research (CIC, CHULille, LilNCog), ethics and law (CRDP).
2024 - The SPIKY project is funded by the PIQ program

Congratulations to Pierre Yger on obtaining funding from the Programme Inria Quadrant 2024. The SPIKY project aims to develop a real-time spike-sorting algorithm for analyzing neuronal activity recorded via high-density electrodes, in-vivo, thanks to a modular software architecture and adaptive clustering (https://piq.inria.fr/projets/2024/).
2024 - Kick-off meeting of the UNREHAL clinical trial

Official launch of the UNREHAL project in November 2024, 5th, one of the 13 targeted projects of the Precision Psychiatry PEPR national plan. This multi-site project, led by Renaud Jardri aims to validate a fMRI-based neurofeedback strategy as a treatment for drug-resistant hallucinations in schizophrenia (find out more).
