Study the pathophysiological mechanisms of vascular alterations, metabolic risk factors and neuroinflammation in neurovascular and neurodegenerative models and their consequences in terms of regulated cell death and pharmacological targets.
Objective 2: Biomarkers to characterize and predict neurodegeneration
Develop translational and multimodal biomarkers of prognosis, endophenotypes and drug response with imaging and neurophysiology biomarkers with a multimodal approach combined with more specific clinical assessment of multiple domains of cognition and behavior.
