Konstantina CHACHLAKI, receives the Jeannine Courrier Prize from the Academy of Sciences
Konstantina Chachlaki is interested in the role of nitric oxide in controlling the physiology of the organism from birth to adulthood. MiniNO Project
His work explores the role of nitric oxide in the development of the neuroendocrine axis controlling fertility during early childhood and studies the repercussions of its alteration on reproduction, but also metabolism and mental health in adults.
This comprehensive approach, ranging from fundamental understanding of mechanisms to clinical application, promises to open new avenues for the prevention and treatment of various medical conditions related to dysfunction of the nitric oxide system.
Paolo Giacobini awarded the Mémain-Pelletier prize from the Academy of Sciences.

The ceremony was held on October 15, 2024, in the prestigious Palais de l'Institut de France and honored nearly fifty exceptional researchers in front of the scientific community, ambassadors, donors, representatives of major research organizations, elected officials from France and abroad as well as representatives of the industrial sector to reward the work of the most promising and talented scientists.
