Pharmacological neuromodulation
The brain is a separate organ that warrants specific treatment. Indeed, oral treatments pose many problems, particularly undesirable effects due to their diffusion throughout the body when only the brain is targeted. In addition, the effectiveness of oral treatments is often limited by the dose and the very short administration time. Finally, many therapeutic solutions do not pass the digestive barrier and the barrier between the blood and the central nervous system. On the other hand, controlled administration at the level of the central nervous system allows precise, continuous and targeted administration directly into the brain, increasing the effectiveness and safety of treatments, particularly for severe diseases of the central nervous system.
InBrain Pharma develops this concept of pharmacological neuromodulation.
