The Lille Neuro&Chem multidisciplinary team, previously known as BBC (Brain Biology & Chemistry), brings together experts in chemistry and neuroscience to design innovative treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. These conditions share key features such as brain inflammation, abnormal protein buildup, disrupted cell communication, and memory impairment. By exploring how these processes are interconnected, we create and develop new molecules that precisely target the mechanisms driving neurodegeneration.
